Site / Area Manager - Water Utilities & Mains Renewal Location: South London Salary: Up to £64,000 + package Job Type: Permanent Sector: Water Utilities / Civil Engineering The Opportunity Damicor is working with a leading utilities contractor experiencing significant growth across its Thames Water targeted mains renewal frameworks. Due to an increase in project workload, we are looking to speak with experienced Site Managers and Area Managers to support the delivery of clean water infrastructure and mains renewal projects across South London, North London and the Thames Valley. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business delivering essential water infrastructure projects, with a strong pipeline of work and opportunities to take responsibility for site operations and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day delivery of water utilities and mains renewal works. Oversee site teams, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Monitor project progress against programme, identifying and resolving any issues that may affect delivery. Ensure all works comply with health and safety legislation, quality standards and environmental requirements. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and resources to maintain productivity. Liaise with clients, stakeholders and internal project teams. Maintain accurate site records, reports and relevant project documentation. Ensure works are delivered in line with project specifications and client requirements. About You To be considered, you should have: Previous experience in a Site Manager, Area Manager or similar supervisory management role within utilities or civil engineering. Experience delivering water infrastructure, clean water network or mains renewal projects. A strong understanding of site safety, quality control and programme management. The ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and multiple work fronts. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach to managing site operations and driving successful project delivery. Experience working on Thames Water Utilities Limited (TWUL) frameworks, particularly potable water mains rehabilitation or renewal projects, would be highly advantageous. What's on Offer?
