A well respected and employee focused Construction Consultancy are now looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Kent team. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining at a crucial time of growth as the business have just been awarded 3 new projects all within Hotel and Commercial sectors. The organisation are a national and internationally recognised consultancy. The Assistant Quantity Surveyors will be offered tremendous amounts of APC support.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's Role

With great support from the key Directors, the new Assistant Quantity Surveyor will jump right into a new build Hotel worth £25M, and a refurbish/fit out Hotel scheme worth £11M. Additional projects will have the Quantity Surveyors involved in Commercial fit out schemes across the Southeast. Other project values will range between £1M - £25M.

The consultancy would like the Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is already on the APC pathway.

  • Quantity Surveying experience 12 months plus
  • Awareness of JCT (D&B) contracts
  • Completed a BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying degree
  • Wanting to become MRICS
  • Able to support with client meetings and take full project life cycle
  • Pre and post contract knowledge
  • Awareness within the £1M - £30M contract values
