The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join a major project team working on a large-scale commercial office development in Bristol .
With an impressive 7-year project programme and a salary of £70,000-£80,000 , this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional looking for long-term stability and the chance to play a key role in the delivery of a major project.
The Role
As HVAC Project Manager, you will take ownership of the HVAC package, managing the delivery of works from planning through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of HVAC works
- Taking ownership of the HVAC package and ensuring works are delivered to programme
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, site teams and specialist contractors
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
- Coordinating HVAC installation with other trades and project disciplines
- Managing labour, materials and plant requirements
- Monitoring progress against the project programme
- Managing procurement and ensuring materials are available when required
- Attending project and coordination meetings
- Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Monitoring quality and ensuring installations meet project specifications
- Overseeing testing, commissioning and handover of HVAC systems
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with Health & Safety requirements
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an HVAC Project Manager or Mechanical Project Manager
- Strong experience delivering HVAC/mechanical services on commercial projects
- Experience working on office or commercial projects
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and installation
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Ability to manage programmes, deadlines and project deliverables
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of a project
