A passionate and employee focused construction consultancy are looking for their next motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Bristol team. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a multi-disciplinary consultancy, where Quantity Surveying, Project Management, CDM, Architecture and Employers Agent services are offered. The Senior Quantity Surveyors will have an incredible opportunity to work within Commercial, Education, Life Sciences, Residential and public sector schemes on new build and refurbishment projects. Hybrid work is offered.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

With great support for the key Directors, the new Senior Quantity Surveyors will be working across a mixed portfolio projects across the Bristol, Southwest and Wales. Progression towards Associate level is made from the start. The Senior Quantity Surveyors will be producing high quality cost plans, which in turn continue throughout the process into the final accounts. A solid understanding of Pre Con knowledge is expected, with a great enthusiasm for quality work and long lasting relationships. The Consultancy have been operating for over 50 years, and have 5 offices across the UK. They are a sociable, motivated and highly respected organisation.

The background of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Completed a BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying degree
  • Must be a PQS / Consultancy background
  • Quantity Surveying background across a myriad of sectors
  • Leading projects
  • Managing 2/3 staff
  • Able to be involved on client meetings and take full project life cycle
  • Pre and post contract knowledge
  • Understanding within the £5M - £30M contract values
