We are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Site Supervisors and Site Managers to join a leading UK construction and infrastructure contractor. The successful candidate will have experience working within utilities gas, civil engineering, with a strong understanding of site management and health & safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage direct employees and subcontractors on site
  • Ensure CDM requirements and site procedures are followed
  • Conduct site inductions and regular health & safety inspections
  • Review and amend RAMS where required
  • Issue permits, including Permit to Dig
  • Arrange the hire and off-hire of plant and materials
  • Maintain accurate site diaries and project records
  • Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks
  • Carry out regular site safety inspections
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements

About You

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor
  • Experience within Power, Water, Gas, Highways, Utilities or Civil Engineering
  • Experience managing trenching and deep excavation works
  • Experience with RC works, duct installation, cable pulling or similar activities
  • A current SMSTS qualification
  • A full and valid UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures
