Our four core values – doing things the right way, being part of the family, celebrating individuality and always asking what’s next? – define the essence of who we are.
The Admiralty reopened after a full refit in April 2023 and holds the honour of being the most central pub in London and the only pub in Trafalgar Square. Acquired in 2014, The Admiralty has a vast range of customers, from worldwide tourists, regular London drinkers, to corporate meetings, after-work office crowd, events and more. The Admiralty really is a lot of things to a lot of people; however, what remains consistent is great food and a buzzing atmosphere. We need a leader who can bring this together and turn this into a wonderful experience.
As well as a steady flow of business throughout the days and week, The Admiralty can be positively impacted by external events such as the marathon, London’s Pride and other Central London high footfall events throughout the year. The next General Manager will be a strong leader who has experience in managing large teams and pre-booked business. The Admiralty operates over 3 floors and has multiple revenue streams. This business needs someone who can delegate, manage other senior managers, set high standards and get their ‘aces in places’ which will be key to their success. The Admiralty is a Live Out vacancy and is part of The Ale & Pie brand.
What we can offer you:
- A 40 hour week contract - needs of the business being a consideration of course but we are definitely not an employer that wants our managers working 70 hours per week!
