DV Cleared (UKIC Preferred) Scrum Master to join an established Consultancy to help drive ambitious programmes to deliver expert solutions. Please note: Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must have a DV/UKIC that is active and transferrable.
Responsible for facilitating and championing the Agile software development process. Regularly report on team progress, risks, and any blockers to program leadership. Maintain project status in Agile tracking software and prepare reports on status. Responsible for facilitating daily stand-ups, backlog prioritisation meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives and other Agile activities. Responsible for communicating with the customer and the team, tracking tasks and producing quality deliverables. Work with team to identify, document, manage risks/issues in a timely manner, coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure risks/issues are resolved and closed. Coach the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices. Collaborate with Product Owner to understand current assignment and enable the team to stay focused on Sprint and Program Increment objectives.
Required skills to be successful in this role:
- At least 3 years of previous experience leading and managing agile IT development projects.
- Experience with Agile Project Management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills is necessary to be successful in this role.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task and solve problems independently and innovatively.
