Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer with expertise in Automation, you will be a skilled professional who streamlines testing processes through automation, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
You will have specialist skills in in creating and maintaining automated testing solutions for IT systems and applications. You will possess in-depth knowledge of various test automation tools and technologies and use them to build optimized test scenarios, develop automation for executing tests, and manage test data and environment-related automation. This role requires understanding and integrating testing automation into overall delivery automation, aligning with contemporary trends like Agile, DevOps, and Containers. In summary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon, Cucumber, etc.
- Design and create test data and test environments
- Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution
- Identify, understand, and document all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program, application or set of applications
- Do a deep-dive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly
