Overview
Soluitions Architect / Infrastructure Architect – 4/5 days a week in Farnborough, Hampshire – DV Cleared opportunity
£650 – £725 per day outside IR35 – Candidates must have a current DV level security clearance.
The Solututions Architect / Infrastructure Architect needs to be familiar with the below skills
- VMWARE
- Microsoft Desktop and Server
- Containerisation
- PKI
- Micro services architecture
- Experience of working/designing Hardened system’s
- Happy to role up sleeves and get involved, not just do the design work
- Must be happy to learn new things and demonstrate strong experience of being able to pick up tec and understand/learn it quickly
Desirable skills
- VMWare VCF
- Micro Segmentation
- HSMs
- knowledge and awareness of zero trust architecture
- Experience of working in air gapped environments
Key capabilities
- As a Solution Architect / Infrastructure Architect , you will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the following:
- Evidence of experience in developing and deploying Cross Domain Solutions, design, use, testing and assurance.
- Sound understanding of the NCSC patterns and guidance for safely importing and exporting data.
- Ability to assess the product marketplace for products which meet requirements of the functional components of the solution.
- Ability to convey technical requirements for bespoke components required to software developers.
- Ability to understand user requirements and translate these into solution design.
- Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Experience of working with both hardware and software based cross domain approaches.
- Strong knowledge of cryptography and public key infrastructure.
- Experience of MOD systems and processes.
- Experience of MOD assurance processes.
Desirable demonstrable experience
- Working with the MOD and Defence Digital processes and services.
- Support development in a secure by design methodology;
- Experience of Data-Centric Security principles.
- Experience working with Hardsec Cross Domain appliances.
- Experience of cloud deployment automation.
- Strong networking skills.
