Damia Group is searching for a Senior Business Analyst with Enhanced SC clearance (eSC) for a 3 months + contract inside IR35 with likely rolling extensions, for our client, Global Consultancy to work on a confidential project within Central Government.
The Senior Business Analysts will work under the direction of the Client Delivery Manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.
Daily rate inside IR35: £550-600 per day
Profile:
- Exceptional business analysis and consulting skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast paced change
- Leadership skills and ability to translate concepts appropriately for varied audiences, including C-suite and lead governance fora.
- Proven delivery experience especially with proven ability to direct business change activity.
- Confident working with Central Government processes and methods, including the GDS Service Standard and Technical Code of Practice.
- Governance and Stakeholder Management: Strong client influencing skills and proven ability to manage senior level (e.g. CTO/CIO) relationships.
- Provides regular progress reports to stakeholders
- Professional, proactive, ‘can-do’ and flexible attitude towards the work required and the teams being worked with.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard and confirm scope and mandate
- Identify and map stakeholders
- Review and assess existing workstream resources, artefacts, plans, and analysis approaches
- Review workstream (Analysis) scope
- Engage stakeholders across workstreams (workshops/interviews)
- Identify critical risks, dependencies, and capability gaps
- Capture lessons learned from prior implementations
- Assess existing analysis ways of working across workstreams
- Co-design the integrated analysis approach.
- Identify resourcing and capability requirements (primary workstream + other workstreams)
- Identify tool and template requirements
- Initiate definition of MVP approach (e.g. big-bang vs iterative releases)
- Validate findings and approach with stakeholders.
- Build the detailed implementation plan for Phase 2 delivery
- Agree handover approach with workstream lead
- Finalise stakeholder mapping and engagement plan
- Present final deliverables
