We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach with active eDV clearance to enable high-performing delivery teams in a secure, mission-critical environment. You will foster collaboration, remove impediments, and guide teams in applying agile practices that ensure focus, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
This role requires an individual who can balance servant leadership with effective facilitation, coaching, and a deep understanding of agile frameworks to help teams thrive and deliver at pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support teams in identifying and removing blockers to enable smooth delivery
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven insights and coaching
- Use agile metrics (cycle time, velocity, burn-up/down charts) to track progress and promote transparency
- Adapt and scale practices across teams and programmes using SAFe, LeSS, Kanban, or the Spotify Model
- Facilitate alignment and collaboration across distributed teams using digital collaboration tools
- Act as an agile coach for both delivery teams and stakeholders, encouraging adoption of lean-agile values
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach supporting multiple delivery teams
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to create safe, collaborative environments
- Practical experience with JIRA, Confluence, and related agile delivery tools
- Excellent stakeholder communication and coaching abilities
- Experience applying different scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Spotify Model) in complex organisations
- Comfortable coaching in secure, high-stakes delivery settings
Desired Certifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent)
- Additional certifications in SAFe or advanced agile coaching frameworks are advantageous
