Please note – due to the nature of work, all candidates MUST have UK government Higher Level Clearance (HLC) / enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) / UK*C clearance that is active and transferable and 10 years unbroken UK residency.
My client is a global IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Scrum Master. This role is suitable for a strong problem solver. You will be working closely with the senior management team and Head of Operations, to support in delivering key projects for the business.
The role could involve:
- Collecting/extracting data from internal systems and formatting data in Excel / Power BI
- Performing repeatable tasks including auditing records, facilitation of action lists, and providing support for the management team.
- Supporting with the administration of new starters.
- Adhoc tasks to support business events or others.
Experience required:
- Scrum Master certification (CSM PSM I)
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (for example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, etc.
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques.
- Provides internal business support through tracking and auditing business processes which will require good skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook mail, and a general understanding of web-based systems.
- Compiles and formats data from various business systems to provide dashboards and reports to the business or facilitates tracking of business processes, which will require good skills in Excel functions such as pivot tables, charts, and v-look ups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook email, mail merge, and web-based systems.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting including such tools as MS Excel, Power BI, Python.
- Knowledge and understanding of the IT sector and workplace.
