SC Cleared AWS Technical Architect – 6-12 months+ £700-750pd Inside IR35- Hybrid/ Remote working with occasional travel into Croydon or London
Key Skills:
- Hands-on professional experience using cloud native services.
- Broad technical skills with SME knowledge in one or more specialist areas.
- Experience implementing and working with modern IT practices, tools, and philosophies such as DevOps, DevSecOps, and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to quickly develop close working relationships with stakeholders and team members, engaging at an appropriate level.
- Understanding and challenging client requirements, including aligning the solution/technology with the desired outcome in both technical and financial terms.
- Manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify opportunities for improvement on existing deployed applications as well as architecting for new capabilities and requirements.
- Experience with designing and delivering AWS services, encompassing IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective technical architecture support to the portfolio which remains compliant with design principles, best practices and standards.
- Build client trust and relationships to support the development of the relationship with the clients’ portfolios.
- Drive service optimisation, platform modernisation and assurance work to the technical team.
- Support and drive the IAM upgrade replacing existing software with cloud native products, taking these through design and testing.
- Undertake and support roadmap planning in line with technical standards and strategies.
