Product Delivery Manager (Fluid Systems) - 2 days per week in Reading - Circa £800 per day inside ir35 -

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of digital engineering capabilities used to design, analyse and verify aircraft Fluid Systems, including fuel, hydraulics, environmental control, pneumatics and thermal management.
You will bridge engineering, digital/IT and programme delivery , ensuring engineers have the right tools, data, integrations and processes to deliver effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Fluid Systems digital capability, roadmap and delivery backlog.
Deliver and integrate engineering tools for system simulation, CFD/thermal analysis, CAD, configuration management and test data.
Ensure requirements, models, analysis and test evidence are connected through the digital thread.
Work with engineers and stakeholders to understand and prioritise requirements.
Coordinate delivery across internal teams, partner companies and suppliers.
Manage budgets, risks, resources, vendors and delivery performance.
Establish standards, governance and data-management practices.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of digital engineering tools and processes.
What We're Looking For
Significant experience in aerospace/defence and digital engineering, ideally around Fluid Systems.
Good understanding of model-based engineering, simulation and engineering toolchains.
Experience delivering complex technical capabilities across multiple teams and suppliers.
Strong product, project/programme and stakeholder-management skills.
Comfortable establishing new capabilities and working in complex, evolving environments.
