My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a number of Android Developers who are passionate about building high quality mobile applications with customer needs at the centre of every decision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining features across our Android applications
- Collaborating closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality digital products
- Building intuitive, visually engaging, and user friendly mobile experiences
- Writing clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code
- Supporting development activities across the ScottishPower family of Digital platforms
- Driving continuous improvement across development processes, tooling, and customer experiences
- Identifying opportunities to enhance app performance, usability, and engineering practices
- Working collaboratively with Analysts, Designers, and Testers to deliver solutions aligned to stakeholder and customer needs
- Contributing to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews
- Supporting the delivery of Digital objectives through innovation and engineering best practices
