SC Cleared Electromagnetic Engineering/Digital Engineering Manager - £Inside IR35 DOE 3 months+ - Hybrid working of 2 days per week in Berkshire with rest from home
Looking for an SC Cleared Senior Electromagnetic Engineering/Digital Engineering Manager who will lead the development and delivery of digital engineering capabilities supporting electromagnetic engineering.
This is a hybrid role combining electromagnetic engineering knowledge, systems engineering, digital engineering and delivery leadership. You will work with technical teams and technology partners to improve the tools, systems and digital environments used across complex engineering programmes.
You will be responsible for:
Shaping and delivering a roadmap for electromagnetic engineering digital capabilities.
Working with engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical technology solutions.
Supporting the development and integration of modelling, simulation, analysis and engineering data environments.
Providing technical direction across areas such as RF, EMC, antennas, electromagnetic modelling and related engineering disciplines.
Managing suppliers, stakeholders, budgets, risks and delivery priorities.
Improving the integration, traceability and management of engineering data throughout the product life cycle.
Supporting the adoption of new tools, technologies and engineering processes.
We are interested in speaking with senior professionals who have a background in:
Electromagnetic, RF, systems or electronic engineering.
Digital engineering, engineering systems or simulation environments.
Aerospace, defence or another highly regulated engineering sector.
Technical leadership and delivery of complex engineering programmes.
Engineering toolsets, modelling/simulation or technology integration.
Stakeholder and supplier management.
Experience across RCS/EM modelling, RF systems, EMC, antennas, EW, simulation or engineering digitalisation would be particularly relevant.
You should be comfortable operating between highly technical engineering teams and senior stakeholders, with the ability to turn complex engineering requirements into clear priorities and deliverable solutions.
