Remote position with a daily rate of £500 - £550 INSIDE IR35.
Location: Travel Requirements: Travel 1 day a Month in Leeds typically on Wednesday, with an additional day once a quarter.
Duration: 6 months starting ASAP.
Previous experience required:
- Developing safe and secure code for complex software systems.
- Provisioning and developing for cloud-native systems; preferably AWS but any public cloud is welcome.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD systems that optimise for development velocity, security, and reliability.
- Working as a subject matter expert, collaborating with product teams to help them build and observe cloud-native applications.
- Investigating and supporting incident investigation on complex software systems.
- 'Shifting security left'; using various tools and techniques to ensure software is secure (for example: static/dynamic analysis).
Core Skills:
- Senior Python developer.
- Cloud architecture / AWS.
- Terraform, other IaC tools welcome.
- Github Actions, other pipeline tools welcome.
- Observability tooling - any tool welcome.
- Strong understanding of the S(ecure)SDLC.
This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements.
