My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the delivery of digital services within a Government / Healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will work as part of cross-functional Scrum teams, helping to define product direction, manage priorities, and ensure that solutions meet user needs and organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritised effectively to deliver maximum value.
- Work closely with Scrum teams (engineering, design, delivery managers, and analysts) to deliver product increments.
- Define and communicate product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned with organisational priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, and operational teams to gather requirements and shape solutions.
- Ensure user needs are central to product development, working with user research and service design where appropriate.
- Translate complex requirements into clear product features and user stories.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product demonstrations.
- Use data, feedback, and performance metrics to inform product decisions and continuous improvement.
- Support delivery teams in resolving blockers and maintaining delivery momentum.
- Ensure products comply with relevant public sector standards, accessibility requirements, and governance processes.
- Proven experience working as a Product Manager within Agile delivery environments.
- Experience working with Scrum teams and iterative product development.
- Strong backlog management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, UX, delivery, and architecture.
- Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience delivering digital services within Government, Healthcare, or regulated environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with user-centred design principles and data-driven product decisions.
- Experience delivering public sector digital services.
- Knowledge of GDS standards or similar digital service frameworks.
- Experience working with case management systems, digital platforms, or internal service tools.
- Exposure to complex stakeholder environments.
