My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Marketing & Communications Consultant to join them on an initial 2 month, part time contract.
Key responsibilities
- Develop engaging marketing and communications collateral that clearly explains the programme, its capabilities and the benefits it delivers.
- Identify and develop compelling stories, case studies and content showcasing programme achievements and outcomes.
- Work with programme SMEs to turn complex technical and operational information into clear, accessible communications for different audiences.
- Draft communications for internal and external publication, including articles, presentations, briefing materials, case studies and promotional content.
- Help develop clear and consistent messaging that increases awareness and understanding of the programme.
- Support communications around new capabilities, milestones, successful implementations and benefits realised.
- Advise programme leadership on opportunities and channels to increase the programme's visibility and reach.
- Create reusable collateral that the programme can continue to use beyond the initial secondment.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Strong marketing, communications or content development experience within a complex organisation.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to turn complex subject matter into clear, concise and engaging content.
- Experience developing communications for senior and professional audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
- Experience taking content through corporate governance, review and approval processes.
- Ability to work independently, identify opportunities and quickly turn ideas into polished outputs.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and an eye for how information should be presented visually as well as verbally.
Desirable
- Healthcare or wider public sector experience.
- Experience marketing digital products, platforms or transformation programmes.
- Experience developing case studies and benefits led communications.
- Experience communicating technology enabled change to non-technical audiences.
