Interaction Designer

Interaction Designer with central government experience – 3 months + – remote – £(Apply online only) per day outside IR35 We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interaction Designer to join our client's team. Key Responsibilities: User-Centered Design: Lead the design process by applying user-centered design principles to create intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing interactions. Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate interaction design concepts. Ensure designs are functional, practical, and meet user needs. Collaboration: Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and product teams to refine interaction patterns and ensure alignment with product goals and technical requirements. User Research: Conduct user research, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews, to understand user needs and behaviors. Use insights to iterate and improve interaction designs. Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of interaction design standards and design systems to ensure consistency across products and platforms. Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests and analyze the results to inform design improvements and validate design decisions. Communication: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, clearly explaining your design decisions and how they align with user needs and business goals. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as an Interaction Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process. Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure, etc.). Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, user-friendly interaction designs.
