A globally recognised IT services and consulting organisation is seeking an experienced HR Director for a 6-month contract supporting a large, complex UK business unit. Reporting to the UK HR Director, you will shape and lead the people agenda across workforce strategy, talent management, transformation, and senior stakeholder engagement.

The Essentials

  • Based in or around the West Midlands - minimum 3 days per week on-site in Telford (non-negotiable)
  • 3-5 years demonstrable HRD or People Director experience
  • Proven experience managing a workforce of 2,000+ employees
  • Senior HRBP candidates with strong, relevant experience will be considered

  • Talent attraction, retention, and succession planning
  • Culture, morale, and employee engagement across a hybrid workforce
  • Complex ER and industrial relations, including trade unions
  • Leadership coaching and influencing at senior level
  • DEI strategy and implementation
  • People analytics and data-driven decision making
  • HR partnership on client bids, transitions, and restructures

What You'll Bring

  • Senior HR leadership background in a large, matrixed organisation - IT services or consulting preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes
  • Proven track record in transformation, workforce planning, and complex ER
  • Public sector or regulated environment experience is advantageous
  • BPSS clearance eligibility required

£600/day DOE | Inside IR35
