Lead end-to-end delivery of capital engineering projects from concept to handover, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope, plans, budgets, schedules, risks, and change control
- Ensure compliance with safety, construction, and industrial regulations; champion strong HSE culture
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver practical engineering solutions
- Oversee contractors and design partners; lead design reviews and ensure quality/technical integrity
- Lead incident investigations and continuous improvement activities
- Manage stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams across multiple concurrent projects
- Provide reporting, financial oversight (incl. forecasting, ROI/NPV), and contract support
Skills & Experience:
- Strong project management across multiple engineering projects
- Broad engineering knowledge (mechanical, electrical, civil, process, controls)
- Experience with design reviews, technical drawings, and compliance
- Strong HSE knowledge in industrial environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and team leadership
- Commercial and financial awareness (budgets, contracts, forecasting)
- Proficient in MS Project, M365, SharePoint, SAP; AutoCAD familiarity
Education:
- Degree/HND/HNC in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- Chartership (or working towards) desirable
- APM PMQ and/or NEBOSH desirable
