We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our hardworking and friendly multi-disciplinary team of professionals. You will have experience of working with individuals with complex health needs, learning and physical disabilities. You will ideally have a minimum of two years’ experience, working as a qualified Occupational Therapist in a similar setting or within the Community Team.
You will be required to work closely with the Physiotherapist and other professionals, to ensure that the holistic needs of the people we support are met and evidenced, in line with best practice. You will be responsible for assessing individual equipment needs to support 24 hour postural management, as well as delivering individual and group therapy sessions to support occupational engagement and skill development in activities of daily living. You will have excellent communication skills and have a person-centred approach.
HOURS OF WORK: Permanent - Full-time 37.5 hours a week
PAY: £37,500 to £41,500 Depending on skills and experience - DHRT grade 6/7
