Job Description

As ourTender Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by leading the end-to-end tender process for new and existing clients. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to develop compelling, commercially sound proposals that align with client needs and our operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality tenders and RFQs.
  • Analyse tender documents and client requirements to develop winning strategies.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, legal, and sales teams to gather input and ensure alignment.
  • Produce written content to convey the Maersk value proposition.
  • Manage timelines and ensure all submissions meet deadlines and compliance standards.
  • Conduct post-tender reviews and support contract negotiations where required.
  • Maintain a database of tender outcomes and continuously improve the bid process.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in tender/bid management within the logistics or supply chain sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract logistics operations.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and tender management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

THIS ROLE CAN BE HOME-BASED in the UK, Ideally within a 1-hour drive to one of our sites.
