The QSHE & Facilities Manager will support the management team by ensuring compliance on the governance agenda and maintaining adherence to legal and safety standards, industry accreditations, food safety standards and the delivery of required health & safety training.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure legal compliance and company Health & Safety policies, processes and standards.
- Maintain industry accreditations such as ISO, BRC, and others as required.
- Oversee compliance with Food Safety Standards where applicable.
- Provide health & safety training and deliver training when required.
- Implement and monitor contractor control processes.
- Manage external security, catering, and cleaning contractors to meet all legal and safety requirements.
- Support and manage the MHE fleet with central facilities.
- Plan and support pre‑planned maintenance schedules.
- Manage all waste streams for the site.
- Ensure the “know your building folder” is trained out and updated regularly.
- Stay familiar with local Health & Safety legislation and ensure compliance.
- Facilitate internal and external audits of compliance and procedural activities.
- Support, document and manage reports related to PPM & PMC programmes.
- Coordinate interactions with multiple departments and third‑party contractors.
- Exceptional knowledge and capability to achieve safe and legal commitments.
- Experience maintaining accreditation standards (e.g., ISO, BRC).
- Ability to track KPIs and provide updates for site management team.
- Track KPIs for supplier and contractor performance, including Planned Preventative Maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of legislation related to the management of suppliers carrying out maintenance and property infrastructure activities.
- Monitoring and managing the PPM schedule for the sites.
- Conduct audits and health checks, demonstrating due diligence and engaging Lead Managers to address risks.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Competence with Microsoft Office packages.
- Outstanding organisational skills and continuous personal development focus.
