Main tasks of the role
- Act as the focal point for IQSMS, including training, development, administration and maintenance of the system.
- Assist Maersk Air Cargo UK Nominated Persons with risk management, including risk assessments, MoC, SPIs.
- Carry out compliance monitoring audits, appropriate to competence.
- Assist with management of the Compliance Monitoring audit plan.
- Assist Nominated Persons with Supervision & Control (quality control) audit programmes.
- Control MAC UK manuals, documents, procedures, certificates, approvals and forms for standardisation and quality.
- Foster positive relationships with MAC UK, MAC AS, subcontractors & contractors.
- Assist with evaluation of safety reports, assign accordingly.
- Actively promote corporate safety culture, assist with facilitating hazard identification, risk analysis and management.
- Provide advice on safety & compliance matters.
- Carry out appropriate safety investigations and issues safety recommendations.
- Encourage and motivate all personnel in alertness and engagement in Compliance Monitoring matters.
- Make suggestions for continuous improvements in all matters, including processes in the organisation.
- Expand the knowledge and understanding of Compliance Monitoring throughout the organisation.
What we're looking for
