Join our Warehouse Team! We're looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy Goods In team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in accuracy, and like being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
As a key member of our warehouse operation, you'll help ensure deliveries are received, checked, and processed efficiently, keeping stock moving smoothly through the business. Based at our Logistics site at Steeton (in between Keighley & Skipton), this is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 0700 – 1500 (though some flexibility is required to meet business needs). As well as a competitive salary we offer free onsite parking, and the site is also easily accessible via rail links. Plus, our onsite canteen offers delicious, subsidised meals for breaks and lunch times!
What You'll Be Doing
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
- Verifying deliveries against delivery notes, including quantities, sizes, and product types
- Identifying and reporting any damaged or missing items
- Accurately scanning stock into our warehouse management system
- Reworking products where required and preparing them for storage or distribution
- Unloading containers of cartons, hanging garments, and pallet deliveries
- Operating FLT and PPT trucks (this role requires you to hold a valid FLT license)
- Marshalling cartons from Quality Control back into the warehouse
- Using computers and handheld scanners to process stock
- Carrying out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving cartons, some of which may be heavy
- Supporting stock picking and other warehouse activities as required to help keep operations running efficiently
