We are a long-established family-run business in the metal finishing trade. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who will make a difference to our busy factory and work in a team where the individual has a positive influence.
We are seeking a candidate with a background in factory or manufacturing environments and a valid counterbalance forklift certificate. This role is not solely forklift driving but involves a split between inspection, factory production work, and approximately 30% forklift operation in a busy environment. The job includes moving large, heavy, finished parts.
All training will be provided, but the individual must have a keen eye for detail and quality. This is a full-time day position. After an initial 3-month qualifying period, a successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a permanent employee. There is scope for progression within the company if the candidate demonstrates a good understanding of our processes.
