We are currently looking for a skilled Machine Operative to join our dynamic team at the Chesterfield Site. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will need to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Location: Chesterfield, S41 9RD
Note: Offer is subject to a drugs & alcohol test. This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Heavy lifting
- Packing materials
- Operating machinery in a high pace manufacturing industry
- Set up machines to start a production cycle
- Inspect machinery for any defects or malfunctions
- Carry out effective line changeovers such as product sizes
- Follow strict hygiene procedures to ensure food safety while working as part of a team
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a machine operator
- Physically fit
- Excellent personal hygiene
- Experience in fast-paced environments advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Factory experience preferred
