We are currently looking for a skilled Machine Operative to join our dynamic team at the Chesterfield Site. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will need to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Location: Prospect Park, Dunston Way, Chesterfield, S41 9RD
Hours:
- Shift 1: Monday to Friday / 6.00am to 2.00pm
- Shift 2: Monday to Friday / 2.00pm to 10.00pm
Salary: £13.13 per hour
Duties & Main Responsibilities:
- Heavy lifting
- Packing materials
- Operating machinery in a high pace manufacturing industry
- Set up machines to start a production cycle
- Inspect machinery for any defects or malfunctions
- Carry out effective line changeovers such as product sizes
- Following strict hygiene procedures to ensure food safety excellence working as part of a team
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a machine operator
- Physically fit
- Excellent personal hygiene
- Experience in fast-paced environment advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Factory experience preferred
