Role Overview
This role combines the responsibilities of a heavy‑vehicle driver with warehousing duties, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient loading/unloading, and the smooth operation of our logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company 3.5‑tonne vehicles to deliver goods on schedule.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, maintaining safety and accuracy.
- Pick and pack orders with maximum efficiency.
- Inspect loads for damage or missing items before customer receipt.
- Maintain high standards of safety and customer service at all times.
- Work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
Required Qualifications
- A valid UK driving licence appropriate for 3.5‑tonne vehicles.
- Experience in multi‑drop driving and/or warehouse operations.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, motivated, and able to work independently.
Desirable: previous experience in driving and warehouse operations.
Schedule & Hours
Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 17:30 (45 hours per week).
