Dalys Garage Limited is entering an exciting new chapter and we want you to be part of it. With the recent launch of the luxury Genesis brand in Northern Ireland, alongside our established Hyundai franchise, we are expanding our team and are now recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join our award-winning, family-run business. This is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to elevate your skills, work with cutting-edge technology, and step into the world of premium automotive engineering.
As part of our growing workshop, you'll work across both Hyundai's advanced vehicle range, including hybrid and electric models, and be introduced to the prestige and innovation of Genesis, a brand redefining luxury motoring. This is a unique opportunity for a technician who:
- Wants to move into the premium/luxury vehicle space
- Is motivated to develop advanced technical expertise
- Takes pride in working to the highest standards of workmanship
We invest heavily in our team and your career progression. As part of your journey, you will complete:
- A 2-day certification at the Hyundai Academy
- A further 2-day certification at the Genesis Academy
This is your first step toward becoming a certified technician across both brands, with clear progression pathways to advanced and expert-level status.
The Role
You will:
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Work on the latest vehicle technologies, including EV and hybrid systems
- Support the introduction and growth of the Genesis luxury brand within our workshop
- Deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced, professional environment
What We're Looking For
We're seeking technicians who are driven and eager to grow:
- Strong work ethic and flexible approach
- A genuine passion for learning and self-development
- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- A desire to progress into premium/luxury vehicle expertise
Requirements
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification preferred
- Level 2 will be considered for the right candidate
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Main dealer experience beneficial, but not essential
