A fantastic client of ours is looking for a skilled HR Advisor who is ready to take the step up to become an HR Business Partner. The role presents a genuinely exciting developmental opportunity for an aspiring HR professional to join a great existing HR team, led by a driven and highly supportive HR Director, in a business that is undergoing a period of very positive change.

The support and development offered will be tailored to the individual to allow you to thrive but in the role you will be responsible for providing forward facing strategic HR support to the central functions (Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, Transformation, General Council) with the more operational HR duties managed by others in the wider HR team. The role has come about due to HR team growth and restructure. Partnering the Heads of Department and working closely with their teams, amongst a multitude of other responsibilities, there will be a focus on:

  • Talent management & succession planning,
  • Capability development & competency building
  • Organizational design
  • Workforce planning & performance optimisation
  • Employee engagement
  • Performance Management
  • Leadership Development
  • Creating a High-Performance Team and High-Performance Culture

The position requires office presence in Woking for 4 days/week with one working from home and would require some travel across the South East (lessening with time as stakeholder relationships develop). It offers a competitive package of £45K to £50K salary + £5K car allowance.

  • Ability to gain credibility from senior line managers as a core part of their team
  • In-depth knowledge, interpretation and application of UK&I employment law
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification
  • Ideally Degree educated
