We are looking for a BI Developer to join our growing data and analytics team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing business intelligence solutions that enable stakeholders across the organisation to make informed decisions.

Working closely with business users, operational teams and senior leadership, you will transform complex datasets into meaningful dashboards, reports and insights.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems with data and has a passion for building scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and optimise Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Design and build data models that support self-service analytics.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy and availability.
  • Create and manage SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
  • Monitor data quality and implement validation processes.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting needs and priorities.
  • Produce clear documentation for data models, reports and processes.
  • Support users with reporting queries and provide training where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accessibility, reporting efficiency and business performance.
  • Collaborate with technology and business teams on data-related projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security and compliance standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using

Power BI .

  • Knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
  • Strong SQL skills, including query writing and performance optimisation.
  • Experience building and maintaining data models.
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
  • Experience with the Microsoft data platform.
  • Experience with other cloud data platforms like Databricks or GBQ.
  • Experience with Python or other data analysis languages.
  • Understanding of data governance and data management principles.
  • Experience implementing row-level security and data security best practices.
