We are seeking freelance interpreters who can confidently interpret between English and Slovak. These interpreters will attend appointments in person to support clients and non‑English speaking service users in settings such as healthcare, legal and public services.
What will you do?
- Interpret live conversations between clients and limited English speakers
- Support communication in medical, legal, social services, and public sector settings
- Ensure accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation
- Use our interpreting app to manage availability and assignments
- Deliver excellent service that empowers people to access vital services
What We’re Looking For:
- Fluency in English and Slovak
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Right to work
- NPPV Level 3 Police related qualification (one or more of: DPSI Law Full, Diploma in Community Interpreting Police and Court Pathway, DPI, Met Police Test)
