We’re looking for freelance Interpreters to support our clients in essential services such as healthcare, legal, and public services across the UK. As a freelance interpreter, you will be registered with us on a self‑employed basis and can decide your own hours, travel distance, and number of assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret live conversations between clients and limited English speakers.
  • Support communication in medical, legal, social services, and public sector settings.
  • Ensure accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.
  • Use our interpreting app to manage your availability and assignments.
  • Deliver excellent service that empowers people to access vital services.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and at least one of the following African languages: Tigrinya, Amharic, Somali (or other languages).
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
