An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Administrator to join a busy London-based lettings team in Farringdon. This role will support a specific portfolio with day-to-day lettings administration while also assisting the wider team during peak periods. This is a fast-paced position requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
The role offers a hybrid working pattern of 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, with working hours of 9am–6pm. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Leasing Manager and will join a team of three Lettings Administrators.
About the Company
Our client is an established international real estate business specialising in the acquisition, upgrading, and management of residential properties. With a substantial international portfolio, they own and manage over 20,000 rental apartments across England, Germany, France, Canada, and the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing all tenancy documentation
- Arranging the signing of tenancy agreements and associated documents
- Coordinating move-in arrangements including inventories, check-ins, and key releases
- Checking tenant references and liaising with referencing agencies and applicants
- Managing pre-tenancy enquiries
- Issuing post move-in documentation to tenants
- Registering deposits with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme
- Updating and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
- Raising initial invoices for move-ins
- Ensuring tenancy files are complete and properties are fully prepared prior to occupation
- Reviewing and approving lettings invoices
- Updating utility providers with tenancy changes
- Maintaining and updating lettings reports on a regular basis
About You
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, hardworking, intuitive, and capable of contributing positively to the wider team. A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar lettings or property administration role is essential.
