Role Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Regional Director, the Head of Commercial will be responsible for accurately projecting and managing costs for all feasibility projects and at all stages of individual projects.
- Lead and nurture the Commercial team, fostering a culture of development and high performance.
- Play a key strategic role as part of the senior team to develop the strategy for the business going forward, identifying key risks and opportunities, and implementing appropriate actions.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager/Director to prepare realistic Forecasts/Budgets.
- Produce monthly Site Analysis Sheets charting financial history of live sites for Management and Project team meetings.
- Work in partnership with the Construction Director to develop and implement a strategy for ensuring suitable labour and subcontractors are available for the business needs.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.
- Industry Expertise: In–depth knowledge of the housebuilding market and risk management is preferred, however, it is not essential.
- Qualifications: Must be a qualified Quantity Surveyor.
- Proactive Approach: A proactive mindset with excellent multi–tasking, planning, and organisational skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and be commercially astute.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Relocation: Our client is open to a relocation package for the right candidate.

- Proven experience in a similar senior role.
