We are a Worcester-based recruitment business and my client are local people looking to expand their business portfolio to include a Worcester-based pub/restaurant combined with holiday lets. We’re launching a brand new independent community pub in a lively urban area and are looking for an ambitious Head Chef to build a kitchen known for bold, distinctive food. This isn’t standard pub grub — we’re creating a menu that blends comfort classics with unique flavours, seasonal ingredients, and creative twists that reflect the character of the neighbourhood.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and deliver a unique, seasonal menu with standout dishes
  • Create daily specials and event menus
  • Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team
  • Manage stock, suppliers, and food costs
  • Maintain excellent food quality and hygiene standards
  • Work closely with management to grow the pub’s reputation for food
