Role Description This full-time Insurance Account Executive role is a hybrid position based in Riseholme, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.

The role involves building a portfolio of commercial and/or agricultural insurance clients, handling new business enquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on appropriate cover, preparing quotations, liaising with insurers and underwriters, and negotiating terms to meet clients’ needs.

The Insurance Account Executive will also be responsible for developing new client relationships, maintaining regular contact with existing clients, and supporting colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Occasional travel to client sites and local visits within Lincolnshire and nearby areas may be required.

Qualifications Strong client relationship management skills, including ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and provide responsive, client-focused service.

Commercial and agricultural insurance knowledge, with experience handling policies for farms, care providers, hospitality, property, or similar sectors.

Competence in policy administration and documentation, including attention to detail, organisational skills, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Effective negotiation and sales abilities, with skills in identifying client needs, presenting solutions, and securing new and renewal business.

Comfort with technology and office systems, including use of insurance broking platforms, CRM tools, and standard office software.

Relevant professional qualifications (e. g., progress toward or completion of CII certification) and prior experience in an insurance broking or account executive role.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment, with flexibility to operate in a hybrid office/home setting.
