Dallaglio RugbyWorks is a charity that works with young people aged between 11-18 who are experiencing school exclusion to help support them in realising their full potential for the future. Our mission is to work with young people who have been excluded from school & ensure that long-term they are not excluded from society.

The Delivery Lead works directly with some of the hardest-to-reach young people who are most at risk of exclusion, delivering small group sessions within alternative education provision and community settings, that blend sports-based activities with skills development and mentorship. Using sport as a hook and mentorship as an anchor, you’ll engage young people through our four core focus areas: developing life skills, raising aspirations, enhancing physical well-being, and promoting mental well-being. You’ll deliver tailored sports sessions combined with workshops in employability, wellbeing and digital skills to help young people build the skills and resilience they need to transition into sustained education, employment, or training (EET) post-school. This role includes daily travel to multiple sites, and up to two evenings per week, normally finishing no later than 7 pm.

We are seeking a professional individual with a proven background in youth work, mentoring, or delivering sports-based sessions, particularly with disengaged or excluded young people. This role is ideal for someone passionate about promoting social mobility. We want to ensure that we are representing the young people that we serve, and we would love to hear from you if you have lived experience of exclusion.

The successful candidate will be proficient in collecting & using data to monitor and enhance performance. They will be highly organised with strong time & people management. You will also be an effective communicator skilled in building meaningful connections with school staff and community partners to shape success for the young people we encounter.
