We support young people aged 12‑18 who have been excluded from education or are at risk of exclusion, using sport as a hook and positive relationships to build confidence, resilience, aspirations and life skills.
The Role at a Glance
- Location: Hastings & Bexhill
- Salary: £18,750 – £22,500 per annum (part‑time 28 hours per week) or £25,000 – £30,000 (full‑time 37.5 hours)

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Sports Coach & Youth Mentor, you will deliver engaging sports sessions, mentoring and workshops that inspire and build trust with young people. You will support one‑to‑one or group activities, help deliver enrichment events, holiday activities, career taster days and enrichment trips. You will keep sessions safe, well‑organised, partner with schools and community organisations, track attendance, progress and outcomes, and support the team in monitoring what works.

You are a positive role model, bring energy, empathy and resilience, and can connect with young people facing challenges, lead engaging sessions and be a supportive presence.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to travel across Hastings & Bexhill.
- Flexibility to work up to three evenings per week (until 7pm).

- Qualification in Sports Coaching, Youth Work or a related field.
- Experience working in schools, alternative provision or community settings.
