Dalkia UK are looking for an experienced cleaner to work on one of our education sites in the Manchester area. This role is a part-time role contracted to 16 hours a week, Monday-Thursday, 3:15pm-6:00pm. Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
- General cleaning of the premises in accordance with specifications, under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Ensuring all cleaning materials are handled and used correctly in accordance with the COSHH data sheet.
- Vacuuming carpeted areas of the building.
- Mopping and buffing vinyl and/or hard floor areas of the building.
- Cleaning toilet areas of the building.
- Polishing glass and brass work in the building.
- Collecting and removing rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points.
- Taking responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of duties.
- Working in a safe manner for the benefit of oneself and other occupants of the building.
- Displaying appropriate signage to ensure that occupants of the building are aware of any circumstances that may affect their health and safety whilst cleaning operations are taking place.
- Undertaking job-related training as and when required.
- Being able to work as part of a cleaning team.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a cleaner or in a similar role.
- Experience in the use of cleaning equipment.
- Flexible approach to working as part of a team.
- Successful DBS check undergone.
- COSHH training.
