Dalkia have an opportunity for a Facilities Manager to lead their team overseeing the EDF offices in Gloucester Business Park. The Senior Facilities Manager will lead a customer-focused Facilities Management team, ensuring the delivery of the full spectrum of FM services in line with client, financial, and commercial requirements. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a commitment to safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Leadership
- Champion a “safety first” culture across all FM operations.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental policies, codes of safe working, and statutory requirements.
- Proactively identify and challenge unsafe behaviours and promote safe working practices.
- Operational Management
- Oversee delivery of technical and non-technical FM services across client sites.
- Drive service excellence, ensuring consistent adherence to contractual KPI and SLA requirements.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the key point of contact for all FM-related matters.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and service delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support broader business and client objectives.
- Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage and control an FM budget.
- Monitor and report on WIP, debt, margin, cost control, and P&L performance.
- Deliver services within agreed financial parameters, ensuring commercial targets are consistently achieved.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, motivate, and empower a diverse FM team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
