We are seeking a qualified and motivated Multi Skilled Technician (Electrically biased) to join our site maintenance team supporting Swissport Southern Airports. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational, enabling smooth airport operations with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Complete maintenance tasks via electronic systems (Aurora/Helpdesk)
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and airport security requirements
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostic analysis
- Maintain accurate site records and logbooks
- Monitor plant condition and report reliability concerns
- Maintain clean and safe plant areas
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs
- Support and mentor apprentices
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
About You
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Clean Driving Licence
- Basic mechanical and A/C systems knowledge
- Good IT skills (tablet-based reporting systems)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desirable:
- IOSH or similar Health & Safety qualification
- Experience in a similar maintenance role
- Mechanical and Electrical qualifications
