Location: Heysham 1Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per weekSalary: Competitive salary + benefits packageShift Pattern: Monday to Thursday: 07:45–16:15 | Friday: 07:45–12.45Dalkia is seeking a dedicated Industrial Operative to join our team at Heysham 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment, where no two days are the same.
What you'll deliver:
- Perform a variety of tasks typical in an industrial setting, including manual labour, industrial cleaning, plant cleaning, equipment operation, confined space work, fire watch duties, sump pumping, and general site support (e.g. grass cutting and driving).
- Follow all safety procedures and complete tasks efficiently under the guidance of a Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Operate all equipment in line with company and manufacturer standards.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in an industrial or similar environment is preferred.
- A proactive individual with a willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety practices.
