We have an exciting Opportunity at Sizewell B to join as a Mechanical Supervisor andbecome part of our talented and high-performing team at one of the UK\'s most critical energy infrastructure sites. Who We’re Looking For

  • A proven track record in a supervisory role, with strong experience leading teams and delivering successful outcomes within the Power, Oil & Gas, or Pharmaceutical or nuclear industries.
  • Practical experience in supervising mechanical operations or multidisciplinary projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, nurture talent, and build a positive, productive work culture.
  • A proactive and determined approach, with a positive attitude aligned with Dalkia’s core values.
  • City & Guilds or NVQ in a relevant discipline.
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or IOSH certification.
  • Willingness and ability to complete EDF/Dalkia Supervisor Training, including but not limited to: Level 3 Field Supervision & Nominated Competent Person (NCP) training

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure effective control of all on-site activities, maintaining high standards of service delivery, quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Supervise daily site operations in line with the direction and requirements of the Project or Site Manager.
  • Lead and deliver Pre-Job Briefs, Setting to Work procedures, and Toolbox Talks, along with any other briefings or site communications as required.
  • Manage and issue Permits to Work, especially in areas involving increased safety or environmental risk.
  • Prepare and maintain essential site documentation, including RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and Quality Plans.
  • Ensure all site activities adhere to company procedures and agreed method statements, maintaining accurate records in line with project requirements.
  • Promptly report any health & safety or environmental incidents (or near misses) to the Project or Site Manager.
  • Take immediate action in the event of an environmental incident, ensuring it\'s contained, cleaned up, and reported appropriately..
  • Apply industry best practices across projects, using your knowledge and experience to drive consistent standards and continuous improvement.
