Are You a Technically Minded Contract Manager With a Background in Hard FM Services?
Dalkia UK is recruiting for a Contract Manager with strong technical expertise in M&E services, ideally with a background in HVAC, gas systems, or mechanical infrastructure.
You’ll oversee the delivery of facilities maintenance services across multiple high-profile academic and research sites at Imperial College London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead in a prestigious and complex environment, where engineering standards are high and the work makes a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading a multi-skilled technical team across multiple campus sites
- Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance and service excellence
- Acting as the primary client liaison, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term relationship building
- Promoting a strong health & safety culture through visible leadership and regular audits
- Managing performance against KPIs and SLAs
- Driving operational improvements and efficiencies
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house engineers
- Supporting budget control and commercial delivery, including P&L oversight
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience managing hard FM services in a client-facing environment
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, particularly HVAC or gas/mechanical services
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience managing CAFM systems, compliance, and contract reporting
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent H&S qualification)
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- HNC in Building Services Engineering or similar
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or trade background
