We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team at one of our sites in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly skilled team, working within a professional environment where your expertise will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of critical building services.
The Role
As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance activities while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on building services equipment
- Conducting inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels and timescales
- Completing work records electronically using tablets or smartphones
- Maintaining site records, logbooks, and compliance documentation
- Carrying out general housekeeping and equipment maintenance to maximise asset performance and lifespan
- Identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption and recommending improvements where appropriate
- Working in accordance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and compliance requirements
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers through professional communication and service delivery
Working Hours
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off rotation
Days: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Nights: 7:00pm – 7:00am
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 18th Edition
- Previous experience in commercial building maintenance experience in a customer facing environment
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to service delivery
