We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our growing Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) team. Reporting into the regional delivery function, you will be responsible for developing, managing and controlling project programmes across a portfolio of decarbonisation, energy and infrastructure projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Design, Procurement, Commercial and Operational teams, you will develop robust, logic‑linked, cost and resource‑loaded programmes that drive successful project delivery. You will play a key role in identifying programme risks, challenging assumptions, forecasting resource requirements and providing accurate reporting to support business decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain fully logic‑linked project programmes from inception through to completion.
  • Manage integrated master programmes across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Produce and maintain cost‑loaded and resource‑loaded schedules.
  • Monitor progress, identify critical path risks and develop recovery plans where required.
  • Support NEC3/NEC4 contract administration, compensation events and programme impact assessments.
  • Lead programme reviews and provide planning expertise to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Deliver accurate programme reporting, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Challenge project teams and subcontractors to improve programme certainty and delivery outcomes.

About You

Essential experience within Energy Performance Contracting, decarbonisation, M&E or building services projects. Advanced user of Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6. Proven experience managing complex construction, engineering, energy, utilities or infrastructure programmes. Strong understanding of critical path analysis, programme risk management and recovery planning. Experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts. Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge constructively and drive accountability. Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Project Controls experience.
  • APM Planning & Scheduling Practitioner or PMI‑SP qualification.
  • Experience with Power BI, Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance reporting.
